Beaches
Kavourotrypes, known also as Portokali (Orange beach) is located between Armenistis and Platanitsi beaches in Sithonia.
Undoubtedly, it is the real paradise on earth; it is a golden sandy beach with crystal-clear, emerald and shallow waters with great view to Mt. Athos surrounded by pine trees and white rocks. It is partly organized and not easily accessible, though it always gets overcrowded.
Kavourotrypes forms a lace-like coastline of small secluded beaches with crystal clear waters, white coves and dense pine trees that spread all the way down to the shore.
Kriaritsi is a splendid sandy beach, one of Sithonia’s best 10, located in a beautiful landscape with great view over the islets Skepes, Ahinoi and Petalida. Even though the waters are deep and the access quite difficult, the beach is well-organized and ideal for windsurfing lovers.
In addition to the central coast, there is one other smaller, nudist beach, also very beautiful.
Armenistis is an extremely large and exotic, Blue Flag awarded beach with white sand, turquoise waters and
full of lush vegetation all around. The beach is amazing, ringed by low hills with green pine trees that makes you feel a 100 miles from civilization.
It is well-organized with many restaurants, taverns and all kind of water sports facilities available. In the background of the beach there is a large and well-organized camp, ideal for campers!
