The Agiopavlitiko metochi

The Agiopavlitiko metochi of the Holy Monastery of Xiropotamos is located west of Sarti and next to the church of Zoodochos Pigi. Built in 1907, it functioned as a monastery. After that it hosted the first families who came from Lavrio to live in the area and create the village of Sarti.

Historical Folklore Museum of Sarti

The Historical Folklore Museum of Sarti was created in 2007 by the Cultural Association of Sarti ” Afisia”. The aim was to collect and preserve all the pieces of history that were saved from the homeland of our ancestors Afisia.

Walks in Nature

All the routes are of moderate difficulty, on paths, a few kilometers of dirt roads, with a height difference no greater than 730 m. Pine forests in combination with shrubby vegetation of gorse, heather, holly, arias, aspalathus, etc. they fill the senses with colors and aromas. Streams with small waterfalls, relief stone volumes – real sculptures of nature – remnants of Agioreitiki heritage (Metochia and Neromylos) comparable in beauty to the panoramic view towards Toroneos and Sigitiko Gulfs.

Mule Riding

For those who like a different way of taking a walk up on the mountains. The mules are famous and everyone loves them. Wine Tasting and Vineyard Tour

Sithonia’s hidden vineyard is no secret.
The Domaine Porto Carras vineyards with 450 hectares are the largest vineyards in Greece and competes as one of the largest in Europe. Located on the slopes of Mount Meliton on the western coast of Sithonia in Halkidiki, the vineyards overlook the Aegean sea from a high vantage point that gives spectacular views.

Wine tasting
The cost of wine tasting is 2 euros for two tastings or 5 wines for 1 euro per sample.

Vineyard Tour
The two-hour tour begins from the vineyards and then continues on to the winery, where you will do some wine tasting accompanied by fine delicacies. The tour continues to the new vineyards with magnificent views and ends with a tour of the exteriors of the historic Villa Galini.

Time: 10:30 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Fee: € 15/person, € 7.50/child under 12 years

Visiting Times

Any day of the week you can visit or make reservations for wine tasting between 10 am and 8 pm.
Admission is free.
